Over the last 7 decades the NDR Big Band has developed from a Radio Dance Orchestra to one of the world's leading Jazz Big Bands, their music explored and celebrated with a blast from the early days and a couple of highlights captured along their musical journey collaborating with the Who's Who in Jazz, including music and arrangements by Dieter Glawischnig, Michael Gibbs, Bill Frisell, Nils Wogram, Omar Sosa, Colin Towns and others.
