On this edition I have a look at vibraphonist Gary Burton's life and career to celebrate his 75th Birthday. And I do that with a selection of some of his groundbreaking and most innovative work from the early days with his first Quartet via collaboration with Chick Corea and Pat Metheny to his last incarnation of his New Quartet.

And there is a podcast of the show available on the web site all through the week. The show has established itself over the years with a small but devoted listenership (even beyond Jazz-fans) and since the introduction on internet the listenership extended nationally and internationally.
