On this edition I pay tribute to Charlie Haden, one of the greatest player and innovator on the String bass with a selection of his work from his early days with Ornette Coleman, his work with Carla Bley in the Liberation Music Orchestra, his collaboration with Pat Metheny and Keith Jarrett and within his ground-breaking Quartet West.

And there is a podcast of the show available on the web site all through the week. The show has established itself over the years with a small but devoted listenership (even beyond Jazz-fans) and since the introduction on internet the listenership extended nationally and internationally.
