Parallel Society

Parallel Society is a new project featuring some of Dublin's finest young musicians. The band, led by German guitarist Jan Henrik Rau creates different soundscapes with each unique composition.

Drawing inspiration from a variety of styles such as hip-hop, pop, post-rock, electronic and modern jazz combined with powerful improvisation, the music has a very personal touch that is hard to categorise.

Influenced by artists such as Brian Blade & The Fellowship Band, Richard Beirach, Kurt Rosenwinkel and electronic music, every song creates a different atmosphere with fascinating and mesmerizing arrangements and truly original music.

The band will release their debut EP "RAW" that night.

Rynx Laneran is an intriguing new band featuring the hidden talents of some of Dublin's least well known musicians. Rynx brings together musicians with experience playing in a wide selection of musical backgrounds such as classical, theatre, art installations, gamelan and jazz ensembles.

Drawing inspiration from legendary composers such as Philip Glass, Nikita Koshkin, Portishead and Mulatu Astake, Rynx Laneran utilises a variety of compositional techniques and improvisation to create a vivid sense of atmosphere with each original piece.

At its core, Rynx Laneran aims to provide a space for its members and the audience alike, to explore a range of musical concepts free from the standard restrictions of commerciality.

Aftershow

DJ Gully Docktah Irie will lead the aftershow party and will treat your ears with the finest Reggae, Cumbia and Afrobeat. Make sure to bring those dancing shoes!
