Sundays at Noon concert series present the launch of Sue Rynhart's album 'Say Pluto' from the sculpture hall of the Hugh Lane Gallery
Sue was awarded by CCI and Music Network to do a month-long residency at the Centre Culturel Irlandais in Paris in 2023. There, she developed a collection of songs inspired by short stories of the Gothic genre. The songs look at themes of cats, hauntings, witches, isolation, renewal and empowerment and uncover the role of gender, nature, music and the setting of atmosphere in the gothic short story.
The music is composed by Sue Rynhart and includes folk songs, and the accompaniments are arranged by Huw Warren.
Please note that the Dublin Marathon is taking place on Sunday 27th October and some travel routes may be affected.
