In a very special show featuring Ireland's Liam O'Maonlai, Wilson will perform music from her forth coming project to be recorded in Cork in October 2017. A totally unique project in which Wilson brings together elements from America's true musical art form, jazz and Irelands rich tradition of songwriting.
Cassandra Wilson has for a long time been regarded as the finest jazz singer in the world. If artists like Dee Dee Bridgewater, Dianne Reeves and Diana Krall and the gold medal holders of jazz singers then Wilson is the Platinum bearer. Winner of two Grammy awards, Wilson has sold millions of albums on the Blue Note label but is known for her ability to attract audiences from across a broad spectrum of musical genres.
Liam O’Maonlai needs no introduction to Irish audiences as one the founders of the enormously successful Irish group The Hot House Flowers.

Cassandra Wilson – Vocals
Liam O’Maonlai – Piano
David O’Rourke – Guitar
Lonnie Plaxico – Bass
Brandon Ross – Guitar
Lewis Nash – Drums
Paul Dunlea – Trombone
