Kasia Eliasz brings her Brazilian Jazz Quintet, Ta Tum Tum!, a Jazz harpist and a sax/flute player to one place at once! Extremely energetic, fun and musically rich group will be taking you for a journey to Brazil through Samba, Bossa Nova and Jazz!
Brazilian rhythms have its roots in Africa and are one of the most recognisable rhythms in the world. Samba is enacted most spectacularly in the Brazilian Carnival celebrations, which have captured the global imagination in its pulsating rhythms, its decadent revelry, its extroverted performativity and its extravagant exhibitionism.
And this is what this 9-piece band is about! Sharing the most colourful and happy celebration in the world!
Participants of the Under the Palms workshop will also have the opportunity to play the instruments during the show and be a part of a real jazz band.
