Nitai Hershkovits will be known to Cork Jazz Festival audiences from his appearance as pianist as part of the Oded Tzúr Quartet, which was critically acclaimed as a highlight concert of last year’s festival. Later that year, in November 2023, Nitai issued his first album for ECM Records, Call on the old wise, to international acclaim. This solo concert will bring his music live to the intimate space of Christchurch on the much-loved Steinway C piano.

ECM: Artists and Collaborations

Each year Triskel Arts Centre celebrates our partnership with ECM Records by presenting a series of concerts as part of the Guinness Cork Jazz Festival. We are very grateful to everyone at the Festival for allowing us to do this, and this year we are especially pleased to present “ECM Artists and Collaborations”, a series of three concerts featuring these superlative artists in solo, duo and trio format.

Venue Information - The Triskel Arts Centre

Triskel Arts Centre is a vibrant cultural HUB in the heart of Cork City and we celebrated 40 years in 2018. Our main auditorium Triskel Christchurch is a multidisciplinary space housed in a fully refurbished neoclassical Georgian Church.

This state of the art venue, which launched in 2011, is programmed with a rich bill of live music, with a focus on Classical and Jazz concerts, cultural cinema, visual art exhibitions and literary events. Triskel also runs a contemporary art room Triskel Gallery Space. Unique in Ireland, Theatre Development Centre is the only fulltime operation dedicated to the development of theatre, this is managed by Corcadorca Theatre Company.
