Event Description
A GJF19 commission, Bog Bodies features Robert Stillman, Anders Holst, and Sean Carpio responding to, and playing against, a live sonic landscape of field-recordings collected in the Inagh Valley by Sharon Phelan. Through extended recording techniques, moments of careful observation, and creative composition, this performative collaboration is an unfolding of the Connemara landscape - from the sounds of oak forests, lakes and granite to the haunted Hertzian space of Marconi's past transmissions.
GJF is extremely grateful for the support of Interface Inagh, the artists' residency located in the Inagh Valley in the development of this project
