The Chilean-Venezuelan guitarist and composer Orlando Molina will be presenting a completely new repertoire comprised of original compositions specially created for the quintet. The concert will showcase a repertoire that follows the aesthetics of Post-Bop and Contemporary Jazz with a marked influence of Latin American musical forms and rhythms.

Being winner of three international music scholarships, Orlando has played and toured with internationally acclaimed musicians such as Andreas Morricone (Italy), Ronan Guilfoyle (Ireland), Gustavo Dudamel (Venezuela), Phil Ware (UK), Marie Séférian (DEU), David Pavón (Puerto Rico), Conor Guilfoyle (Ireland), the Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela and many others. Orlando has also been invited to perform for important public figures such as Mr. President Michael D. Higgins (Ireland), the jazz trumpet player Wynton Marsalis, David Bisbal, the singer and composer Ruben Blades and others.
As a bandleader and sideman, Orlando has toured the United States, United Kingdom, Middle East, Spain, Ireland, Cuba and Venezuela. He has performed in acclaimed international music festivals and venues such as Jazz at Lincoln Center (USA), Jordan Hall (USA) The National Concert Hall, Cork Jazz Festival, the Electric Picnic, Sligo Jazz Festival, London Arab Festival and many others.
