Dublinjaz.ie are proud to present another outstanding Irish Jazz artist in their Sunday Jazz Sessions at Lost Lane.

Honor Heffernan is undoubtly the Queen of Irish Jazz. She has been an internationally acclaimed singer and actress for over 30 years. She has appeared with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Choral Society in the Royal Albert Hall in a celebration of Beatles music and worked with the BBC Big Band and RTE Concert Orchestra.

Honor has fans in every corner of Ireland who have come to know her for her superior vocal talents and wonderful stage presence. She has three solo albums to her credit. ‘Chasing the Moon’, ‘Fire and Ice’ and ‘The Other Side’, and a duo album ‘Two Heads Are Better than One’ most recently with guitarist Hugh Buckley. 

She has worked with the cream of Irish music artists and in recent years she has been focusing on her collaborative project “The Whistling Girl” with partner Trevor Knight. 

However Honor continues to perform with her jazz quartet and Dublinjazz.ie are delighted to be presenting The Honor Heffernan Quartet at Lost Lane as part of our “Sunday Jazz Sessions” series. 

Performing with Honor will be Phil Ware on Keys, Damian Evans on Bass and Dominic Mullan on Drums.

Lost Lane, opened in 2019, is a venue where Music and emerging talent is at the heart of it. The venue seeks to create and maintain a reputation as the home of live music in Dublin. Artists span a diverse range of acts from across the Irish and international music scene, and all genres from rock and indie, to jazz and trad bands.
