Shaun Garry Trio

Shaun Garry trio is an international group led by Shaun Garry (IRL) on guitar with Alexandre Guerra (BR) on bass and Riccardo Panzini (IT) on drums.

Shaun is an up-and-coming jazz guitarist and composer who has performed and worked with well-known artists both inside and outside the world of jazz including Aleka Potinga, Patrice Brun, Bricknasty, Amelia DeCarteret and others.

Outside of music, Shaun is involved in the advocacy for the inclusion of people with disabilities in the arts. Shaun became Severely visually impaired after suffering a head injury at a young age and describes music as ‘the only thing I did growing up where I didn’t feel different to everyone else’.

Shaun recently, proudly represented DAdA - an all-Ireland movement and campaign which lobbies for greater equity allocation to facilitate disabled musicians and artists - in Leinster House and hopes to continue to help bring awareness to this cause.

Shaun, Alex and Riccardo look forward to sharing an evening of their favourite standards and compositions with you, proudly in association with Cookin’ Dublin.
