Anitchie is an international band that injects a vibrant rhythmic energy into their music. Fusing traditional and contemporary West African styles, they draw particular inspiration from the electrifying Cabaret genre of Mali and Burkina Faso.

Anitchie's sound weaves together the rich tapestry of West African music, utilising the hypnotic melodies of the balafon, the driving rhythms of the djembe drums. This foundation is then ignited by the infectious grooves of electric bass and guitar, creating a sound that's both deeply rooted and undeniably modern.
