Rodrigo Almonte Trio

Rodrigo Almonte is a Peruvian/Irish guitarist and composer based in Kildare. With influences gathered from around the world through his musical journey, Almonte creates an eclectic and engaging approach to improvised music. Fuelled by the musicality of Irish musicians Aidan Gray on double bass and Michael McCarthy on drums, Almonte’s music explores emotion and story-telling through inspiring melodies and intricate rhythms.
