The Kind of New Series Presents: CORDILLERA SERENA

Cordillera Serena is a quartet featuring, besides drums, three different kinds of string instruments. Following the Kind of New format, the three emerging musicians are Jarlath Byrne on drums, Sorcha Mc Cague on harp, and Maciej Bliziński on the double bass. Rodrigo Almonte will complete the quartet playing electric guitar. The group will present a selection spanning multiple genres, from the traditional music of the Andes through the music of the New Age to jazz standards in sophisticated arrangements.
