Join us for an enchanting evening celebrating Chorinho, Brazil’s first popular urban music style, born in Rio de Janeiro in the late 19th century.

Following the choro performance, get ready for the second concert:

'DJAVAN TRIBUTE'

Djavan is one of the foremost figures to emerge from the MPB movement—an acronym for Música Popular Brasileira (Brazilian Popular Music). Since the 1970s, he has played a pivotal role in shaping Brazilian music on the global stage, reaching audiences in the United States and beyond. Known for his intricate rhythms, seamless blending of diverse styles and Brazilian genres, poetic lyrics, and a distinctive approach to harmony, Djavan has become a true icon. His contributions place him among the great composers of our time, deserving recognition on par with the most celebrated artists worldwide.
