Conor Guilfoyle is a highly sought-after drummer and educator known for his innovative approach to jazz rhythm. With an extensive career that includes collaborations with renowned musicians like John Abercrombie, Joe Lovano, and Kenny Werner, Conor has established himself as a leading figure in jazz drumming.
He co-founded the jazz program at Newpark Music Centre and is recognized internationally for his teaching, particularly in the application of odd meters and Afro-Cuban rhythms to jazz. Conor continues to lecture globally and has authored two influential books on drumming, Odd Meter Clave for Drumset and Rhythmic Reading for Drummers.
