Purple Dayz’ is the latest project from renowned Irish jazz guitarist Hugh Buckley. On the night, he and the band will be performing the music from the brand new album release 'Hugh Buckley’s Purple Dayz'.

Formed in 2021 Jazzabelles are an all ‘female led’ band, who’s aim is to make a difference and encourage more female artists to take part in jam sessions, festivals and live events. Introducing jazz to a wider audience is one of the paramount goals in their endeavour and they pride themselves on playing standards with a fresh sensitive and collaborative approach so listeners can recognise and relate to the music instantly.

Born and raised in an African American community in South Carolina, Dana Masters did not just find her home amongst the hills of County Down but found herself as a singer and songwriter too. Now making waves as a solo performer, the acclaimed vocalist is capable of moving fluently between jazz, blues, soul and gospel.

Gediminas Karkaukas makes a welcome return to St. Anne’s Church in a new collaboration with Bassist Cormac O’Brien. This is an opportunity for Dublin audiences to hear these two gifted performers before they go on to perform in Chicago and Carnegie Hall in New York. 

They will have a fresh program of new arrangements of Karkauskas' debut album, Lost Suite as well as some carefully chosen and discerning jazz standards.
