Cookin’ Dublin will be hosting a new jam session series once a month in Dún Laoghaire.

First Wednesday of every month you’ll find us at the brand-new jazz club - Rendezvous Jazz Club upstairs in Walter’s Dún Laoghaire.

Grab a pizza and a pint and enjoy some live jazz provided by some of Dublin's finest musicians. Expect tunes by the likes of Herbie Hancock, Weather Report and Sun Ra.

The 2025 recipients, composers Joanna Mattrey and Christine Tobin, are celebrated on this programme, which comprises world premieres of their new works.

Live Jazz Jam Session in the heart of Cork City every Thursday from 9pm. Hosted by a house band of some of Cork’s finest jazzers & humans. All are welcome to participate for a tune or two. If that’s not your bag then simply take in the atmosphere with some food & refreshments served until late.

Tadhg Leahy is an Irish composer, instrumentalist, bandleader and one of the foremost session guitarists in Ireland. Performing and recording for multiple different Irish artists while also performing and recording music under his own name, writing instrumental and vocal music in a variety of genres.

QOW TRIO is a unique multi-generational jazz band featuring award-winning young firebrand saxophonist Riley Stone Lonergan, British Jazz legend Spike Wells (Tubby Hayes, Bobby Wellins) on drums, and multi-genre bassist and bandleader Eddie Myer. The trio initially got together through their mutual love of Sonny Rollins' classic piano-less trios of the 1950s but soon found themselves expanding their repertoire to explore the rich and varied territory laid out by the great tradition of big-toned tenor players over the generations.

Composer Ed Bennett presents a fresh incarnation of his renowned Decibel Ensemble for the premiere of new commission All Earth Once Drowned, to texts by poet Cherry Smyth.

A successor to the celebrated CEO Experiment, the band co-led by Leopoldo Osio that brought a refreshing new voice to the Irish music scene nearly a decade ago and collaborated with influential American guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkel at the peak of their work, pianist and composer Leopoldo Osio has gathered an impressive ensemble of musicians from around the world – Argentinian saxophonist Gianni Gagliardi, Brazilian drummer Andre Antunes, his long-time collaborator Peter Erdei from Hungary on bass, and the exceptionally talented Cork-based trombonist Paul Dunlea for this special occasion.
