Sean Hession's early affinity with Frank Sinatra and the Big Band era forged an introduction to performing. Accruing vast professional experience and a wide-ranging repertoire of classic standards (800 +) spanning the 20's to the '60s, he is well known for his uncanny resemblance to the sound of Sinatra.

Scott's Jazz Club Presents: Bronowski
A welcome return for a session musician supergroup! Some of the finest musicians in this country are perhaps ones you haven’t heard often in a jazz concert setting, and bassist Carl Harvey is no exception. Despite having played across the world with acts such as Curtis Stigers, KT Tunstall and Billy Ocean, Carl’s first love is jazz and we’re delighted that he is bringing this exciting ensemble back to Scott’s Jazz Club.
Cluster Funk
Following his headline performance at the Johnstown Jazz Festival this summer, drummer and educator Kevin Lawlor revisits a one off fusion project from 2016 with a new lineup of musicians. Cluster Funk will perform jazz and groove music by artists including Thundercat, Norah Jones, Andre 3000, Mark Guliana, Erykah Badu, Jorja Smith, Terrace Blanchard, Robert Glasper, Stanton Moore and more... The band also use well known Hip Hop grooves with Jazz standards played over them as an alternative take on jazz fusion.

Jakub Klimiuk Quintet combines modern jazz with influences from Scandinavian improvised music, Eastern European folk and contemporary classical pieces. The resultant repertoire, consisting of original compositions, is a highly energetic mix of scripted forms and free improvisation, drawing from various genres but at the same time staying deeply rooted in the jazz tradition.

With its electric instrumentation and atmospheric approach, In a Silent Way laid the foundation for the jazz fusion movement, influencing generations of musicians.
Scott's Jazz Club Presents: Håkan Broström Quartet
Håkan Broström is a renowned Swedish saxophonist, composer, and arranger celebrated for his significant contributions to jazz and contemporary music.
Already at the age of 8, Hakan began to play the piano, and when he was 15, he started playing tenor saxophone and Gute. One year later, he was playing alto saxophone in different blues bands in Motala and baritone sax with the Motala Big Band.
